Christine has 15 years’ experience working within top tier law firms. Christine previously worked as a Practice Assistant, and has been in leadership positions for the last 9 years.

At Allens, Christine is responsible for implementing strategies and projects within Practice Support to ensure the changing needs of the business are met. Christine leads Allens’ national Word Processing and Registration Teams and coordinates the Practice Assistant Trainee Program which also runs across all Australian offices.

Sally is the Workflow Product Manager for Pinsent Masons LLP. Originally from Australia but relocated to the UK in 2018 and has been working out of the firm’s headquarters in London for the past 12 months.

Sally has over 14 years’ experience within the law firm operational and business support environment and has been heavily involved in business change, operational design and user adoption within various law firms.

At Pinsent Masons, Sally is responsible for designing user focused processes, strategy and operational procedures to assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective administrative support service. A huge part of Sally’s role is motivating, encouraging and influencing the legal user community to utilise the resources and technology available to them. This results in delivery of a high quality client service across the firm and aids towards continuously improving functions to not remain stagnant in the way they operate.

CFO & COO | Mullins

Bio

Stephen has worked his entire career in professional services, firstly within a Chartered Accounting firm in public practice, then after 15 years, moving into the corporate accounting space. Stephen’s current role with Mullins, a Brisbane based commercial law firm with a strong hospitality sector presence, is as the Chief Financial & Operating Officer. Stephen works closely with the Managing Partner to deliver strong financial outcomes and operational efficiencies to maximise the firms profitability.

Prior to this role, Stephen has had roles including being the Asia Pacific Regional Finance Manager for a global immigration law firm & being the group accountant for a digital news monitoring service.

Mullins has a number of products in the BigHand suite and is currently undertaking a legal process improvement project which will further capitalise on the current implementation of BigHand’s BI software Quantum & Evaluate. Mullins was the first firm in Asia Pacific to implement BigHand Smart Notes and has also implemented BigHand Tasks & Speech recognition within the firm.
